Purpose of the Job:

The Assistant Education Officer is responsible for carrying out administrative duties of educational and training activities in order to contribute to the smooth running of the Institute



Assisting in the preparation of reports of activities undertaken for the period under review in order to provide an accurate record of the activities carried out

Curriculum development

Assisting in carrying out the administration duties in the development and review of curriculum, such as identifying changes required to the curricula, identifying consultants etc.

Student registration 

Assessment of students applying for registration, in accordance with the Education and Training policy of the Institute.

Accreditation assessment

Assisting in the assessment of applicants for accreditation as tuition provider in accordance with the Education and training policy of the Institute.

Practical training

Assisting in the placement of trainees undertaking practical training in accordance with the Education and Training Policy of the Institute

Awarding Certificates

Preparing the certificates to be awarded to students who complete the training requirements of the ZICA programmes

Servicing Committees

Assists in providing Secretarial services to Management Committees so as to contribute to the smooth running of the Institute.


Any other duties delegated by the supervisor


  1. Diploma in Accountancy, Education, Business Administration or Business Management
  2. Added advantage Level II of a professional accountancy qualification– ZICA


2 years’ work experience in related field
