The Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) is pleased to announce the one and half day 2017 IFRS workshop to be held on 9th and 10th November 2017 in Lusaka at Radisson Blu Hotel; 16th and 17th November 2017 in Ndola at Protea Hotel.


The workshop is set to assist participants gain a complete understanding of the transition and practical implementation of IFRSs falling due in January 2018. It will also cover the forthcoming changes and recent amendments to existing standards. Participants will have the opportunity to examine in greater detail the application of IFRS 9 in the financial statements of financial institutions and other non-financial concerns, and will include extensive practical examples of both IFRS 9 and IFRS 15.
