STAFF RECRUITMENT – ZEMA

The Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA) is a Statutory Body that regulates management on all environmental issues in Zambia and is guided by the Environmental Management Act (EMA) No. 12 of 2011.The ZEMA, an equal opportunity employer is in the process of filling its staff establishment and is therefore looking for competent and experienced Zambian Citizens to fill the positions below;

 

  1. ACCOUNTANT – LUSAKA

 

Reporting to the Principal Accountant.

 

MAIN DUTIES – To carry out receipts and payment functions of the Agency to ensure that income is well receipted and payments made according to approvals and authorisation. Ensure tax returns are prepared and filed correctly and on time

QUALIFICATIONS – Grade 12 certificate, ZICA Professional, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent

CANDIDATE PROFILE– Candidates should demonstrate high maturity and good judgment skills to conduct work with maximum professionalism and minimum supervision.

WORK EXPERIENCE- A working experience of minimum 3 years in reputable organisations.

Knowledge of MS Excel and PASTEL is an added advantage

 

  1. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT-LUSAKA

 

Reporting to the Accountant.

 

MAIN DUTIES- To carry out clerical financial functions in the Agency to meet delegated duties from superior.

 

QUALIFICATIONS – Grade 12 certificate, Part II ACCA, CAT, ZICA Licentiate or equivalent

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE– Candidates should demonstrate high maturity and good judgment skills to conduct work with maximum professionalism and minimum supervision.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE- A working experience of minimum 2 years in a reputable organisation(s)

 

Knowledge of MS Excel and PASTEL is an added advantage
