Program Overview

The Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) Certification Program covers financial modelling, valuation, and financial analysis topics — from introductory to intermediate and advanced levels.  The program covers the most important skills for analysts, including Financial; Modelling, Finance, Valuation, Excel, budgeting & Forecasting, Presentation & Visuals, Accounting and Strategy.  Detailed brochure about the program.

Curriculum

CFI classes are offered 100% online, allowing you the flexibility to start the financial analyst program, set your own schedule, and study at a time that’s most convenient for you.

The analyst program includes 7 optional prerequisites to review the fundamentals, 9 required courses to build a strong foundation in financial modeling and valuation, plus a minimum of 3 elective courses that allow more focus on specific topics and skills (12 required courses in total).

This program will require between 50 and 100 hours of study to master the course content and complete the exercises, quizzes, and final assessments. You will learn from a variety of methods, including recorded video lectures, hands-on exercises, quizzes, and multiple-choice tests.

Graduation Requirements

To be granted the Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst credential from the CFI Program, students must successfully complete all required and elective courses (12 in total) and demonstrate mastery of the topics through completion of the course materials, quizzes, and assessments.

Students must earn a minimum passing grade of 80% in each course assessment to complete the requirements for the program and receive certificates of completion.

Once you click on the above link, it will take you to the CFI/ZICA sub domain.  On the sub domain click on FMVA self-study bundle.

Creating an account

On the next domain, please click on GET STARTED NOW in order to create an account.

Enter your personal details (first name and Surname, and email address) and accept the terms and conditions.

The purchase order for the FMVA bundle will come with a price of $375 and a request for you to complete the purchase by making the payment.

Payment for the course

Enter your card details and then click on purchase.  The system accepts any of the following cards: VISA Card, Master Card or American Express.

 

NB: Free Courses

The FMVA programme comes with free courses which you can access on the link:  https://courses.corporatefinanceinstitute.com/collections/free.

Then you click on the FMVA certification, the list of all courses under the program will be listed including the free ones.  Select the fee courses which you can then study.  If you have not yet created an account, the system will request you to create one but if you already have an account, then you simply need to sing in and then you will be able access the free courses
