What Programs does ZICA Have?

As a new ZICA student we want you to feel welcome and well prepared to start studying. A well planned start can provide the necessary platform to successfully pass your exams.  Be sure to follow the steps below to get the right start to your ZICA career.



Methods of Study

Students may learn through any of the following methods: full time, part-time or self-study mode.


Full-Time

Full time study mode is where students attend classes as a full time student at one of the
accredited tuition providers.

Part-Time

Part-time study mode is where students attend classes as a part-time student at one of the accredited tuition providers

Self-Study

Self-study mode is where students read for the programme at home without attending classes at any of the accredited tuition providers.


Entry Requirements


CA ZAMBIA PROGRAMME

level Entry requirements
CA Certificate in Accountancy i) Direct entry route for School leavers should possess a Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with five (5) O level credits or better including Mathematics and English.

ii)    Non-school leavers who hold the Diploma in Accountancy or other recognised relevant qualifications and possess five (5) O level credits or better including Mathematics and English.  These enter at the Application level of CA Zambia.

iii)   Non-school leavers who hold a recognised Degree in Accountancy or other recognised professional accounting qualifications and possess five (5) O level credits or better including Mathematics and English.  These enter at the Advisory level of CA Zambia.

CA Application Advanced Diploma in Accountancy ZiCA Diploma in Accountancy or any other recognised
relevant qualification approved by the Institute, with five (5) O
Level credits or better including Mathematics and English.
CA Advisory Professional in Accountancy Recognised Degree in Accountancy or holders of other
recognised professional accounting qualifications, with five (5) O Level credits or better including Mathematics and English.


TAXATION PROGRAMME

i) Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with five (5) O level credits or better including Mathematics and English.




DIPLOMA IN PUBLIC SECTOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

The minimum entry requirement to the Diploma in Public Sector Financial Management is the ZICA Accountancy Technician Qualification or Equivalent.



DIPLOMA IN ACCOUNTANCY PROGRAM

i) Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent with five (5) O level credits or better including Mathematics and English.



Education Pathways for ZICA Programmes


CA Zambia

The CA Zambia Qualification enables graduates wishing to undertaken further studies in academic programmes to study at Masters and Doctorate Degrees levels.


Diploma in Taxation Graduates

The Diploma in Taxation Qualification enables graduates wishing to undertaken further studies in academic programmes to study at Degree in Taxation in a University.

Diploma in Accountancy graduates

The Diploma in Accountancy qualification provides a firm foundation for those graduates wishing to pursue a degree in accountancy or an accountancy professional qualification such as CA Zambia.


Diploma in Public Sector Financial Management (Dip. PSFM)

The Diploma in Public Sector Financial Management enables graduates to undertake further studies in specialized Public Sector Financial Management.
