CPD

CPD helps you continue to maintain, develop and enhance your professional and personal knowledge and skills throughout your working life as a ZICA Member. Members need to stay competent and to develop new skills to be effective in their jobs and careers

CPD Declaration

Each and every member is required to make an annual return. No matter what route you to CPD you follow, even if you have been granted a waiver as long as a member is active in a workplace they are nonetheless required to make annual declaration.

Membership Categories

ZICA membership is classified into several different grade. Some Qualifications and experiences are required to be eligible for Membership.

1. Associate

A professional accountant holding valid qualifications with minimum of 3 years practical experience.

4. Licentiate Grade

This is accorded to individuals who have recognized accountancy degrees with 3 years work experience.

2. Fellowship

A professional accountant holding valid qualifications with minimum of 3 years practical experience.

5. Technician Grade

This is accorded to individuals who have completed recognized technician accountancy programmes

3. Graduate Grade

Individuals who have completed professional level examinations of a professional accountancy qualification

6. Provisional Grade

This is accorded to individuals who have completed recognized technician accountancy programmes

7. Temporary Grade

This is accorded to individuals who have completed recognized technician accountancy programmes

Subscription Fees And Payments

All individuals holding accountancy qualifications are required to register with the institute before being employed as accountancy professional and Once registered with the institute, they have to keep their membership active by paying annual subscription fees.

Entry Fees

This is not Applicable for Fellows grade of membership whether a Local or a Foreign Member. Otherwise all other grade of membership must pay an entry fee.

Chartered accountants pay and sit for Competence Practice Examinations (CPE) and pass in order to obtain audit or non-audit practising certificates.
