THE TAXATION COMMITTEE OF ZICA MAKES A SUBMISSION TO THE PARLIAMENTARY BUDGET AND PLANNING COMMITTEE OF PARLIAMENT ON THE MID-YEAR BUDGET AND ND THE 2025 GREEN PAPER- 30TH JULY 2024

ZICA continued engagements on the medium-term budget plan and the 2025 green paper by submitting comments to the Budget and Planning Committee at the invitation of Parliament on 30th July 2024. The ZICA delegation was led by Council Members Mr. Nathan Mutale, ZICA Taxation Committee Chairperson and his Vice Mr. Mulendo Siame. Presentations were made by the Taxation Committee members Mr. Patrick Mawire, Managing Partner at EY and Mr. Michael Phiri, Tax Partner at KPMG.
From time to time, the Institute is invited to make submissions to Parliamentary Committees on various matters. Members are encouraged to read this report and many others on the ZICA website www.zica.co.zm under technical, research and thought leadership.
