INVITATION TO THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC SECTOR ACCOUNTING STANDARDS (IPSAS) WORKSHOP

The Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) is pleased to invite you to the 2024 International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) workshop to be held on Wednesday 27^th March and Thursday 28^th March 2024 at Avani Victoria Falls Resort, Livingstone. The workshop will cover the following topics:

3. Practical experience of IPSAS application in Public Sector
4.Overview of IPSAS 1, 6 and 40
5. First-time adoption of Accrual basis IPSASs – IPSAS 33
6. IPSAS 39: New Accounting Standard for Employee Benefits International Institutions
7. IPSAS 17 & 31 – Tangible and Intangible Assets
8. IPSAS 19 – Provisions and Contingent Liabilities

27^th & 28^th March 2024
Venue: Avani Victoria Falls Resort, Livingstone.

Time: 08:00 to 13:00 hours on both dates

CHARGES: 

K7, 500 per participant without Accommodation and K17, 000 with three (3) nights’ Accommodation at Avani (Inclusive of Dinner).
